Youth Worker (2–3 days per week)
Field Vineyard Church – Bristol
Field Vineyard Church is looking to appoint a Youth Worker to help us disciple and develop young people in this next season of growth. This is a key role in the life of our church, shaping a culture where young people encounter Jesus, grow in their identity, and learn to follow him in everyday life.
We are a church centred on Jesus, committed to the values of the Vineyard movement, and passionate about raising people who live in the good of the Kingdom of God. This role will play an important part in helping us build a strong, healthy and growing youth community.
The Role
The Youth Worker will champion the discipleship of young people (primarily secondary school age), helping them grow into a real and personal relationship with Jesus. You will lead and develop spaces where young people can belong, encounter God, and be formed as disciples.
You will work closely with our Kids & Families Pastor and Senior Leaders to ensure a joined-up approach to discipleship across the life of the church, particularly supporting the transition from children’s to youth ministry.
Key areas will include:
Building and leading a consistent youth programme (gatherings, small groups, discipleship environments)
Creating opportunities for young people to encounter Jesus and grow in faith
Investing in and developing a team of volunteers
Supporting and encouraging parents as the primary context for discipleship
Helping integrate young people into the wider life of the church
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
Has a deep love for Jesus and a growing, personal relationship with him
Is aligned with Vineyard theology and values
Is passionate about young people and making disciples
Has the ability to build relationships and create a sense of belonging
Is a self-starter with a heart to pioneer and shape something meaningful
Enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to a wider vision
Experience in youth ministry is helpful, but we are equally open to someone with clear calling, character and potential who is ready to grow into the role.

A culture of worship that ministers to Jesus

Team-based ministry and shared leadership
Healthy rhythms of work, rest and sustainability
